ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Tamás Szalai and I’ve been involved with craft beer for
more than 10 years. It really got to me at the first Hungarian craft beer festival and I’m hooked ever since. After drinking and sampling the best brews, I was publishing for the top Hungarian craft beer blog Fenékig, while I got to know the market, the beers and most importantly the people behind the scene.
Later on I became a craft beer tour guide, pouring amazing Hungarian beers
to the international crowd on the beer tour developed by me.
After a couple of years in the industry I became familiar with
the other side of the business:
I worked as marketing and communications expert and brand
representative for the top Hungarian craft breweries –
Horizont and Mad Scientist.
